  • Understand quantitative research design.
  • Recognize and link basic concepts of statistics with “what it means” and “when it is used”.
  • Determine and implement the appropriate statistical analysis needed to answer your research question based on the type of data collected

  • Discuss construction of figures and tables
  • In-class writing exercises include the allimportant abstract and a cover letter for submission of your manuscript to a journal
  • Respond effectively to reviewers’ comments
